If you know me, you know that I absolutely LOVE wearing Jumpsuits. To me they represent the chicness of a suit yet the femininity of a dress all rolled into one. (Yes using the bathroom is a pain in the *** while wearing these, but oh well, fashion requires sacrifice).
Being a Pakistani, I grew up with embroidered everything – clothes ofcourse, but it extended to purses, wallets, and even shoes. So now living in US, whenever I see any pieces that have embroidery on it, I naturally gravitate towards that. This jumpsuit by Free People had me fall in love at first sight as its a bold color, a jumpsuit and ofcourse its embroidered. Win Win Win !
With the 100% cotton Natural texture with an earthy toned embroidery, I decided to wear it to the Beach in Milwaukee which is right next to Grant Park in Cudahy, literally 5 mins from where I live. I love that the day was overcast and it provided for a great contrast with the deep crimson of the Jumpsuit.
I paired the jumpsuit with open toed sandals that I got on Amazon with a vintage bag that I scored while Thrift shopping ! Again the ribbon embroidery on the bag drew me to it – and what a steal for $7 !
