Theres not much that I like about the midwest winters. Im just not a cold weather person. The only thing I do admire is the amazing variety of comfortable and textured clothing available for this season that craves your body to seek out comfort. I wanted to showcase all these textures in one outfit.
So I picked out a tweed coat that I got from a Thrift store. Im pretty sure its from the 70s, paired that with a cowl neck sweatshirt from Gap and added my Summer Jeans to complete the look. The accessories can definitely make or break an outfit too, so staying true to the theme of “mixed textures” I got my Rubber boots by Aldo with gold studs. Last but not the least I wanted to bring in a Natural element – and in came this amazingly gorgeous Wood Watch by JORD! Im always awed by their quality and focus on detailing. Whenever I wear this watch, Im swarmed by compliments on how unique this looks. Yes Ive been asked if the watch could be touch to check out the texture. People are always amazed how smooth it feels against the skin.
